System requirements for servers that you’ll use for Veeam Cloud Connect infrastructure must meet these requirements

Cloud Gateway Hardware

• CPU: x86 or x86-64 processor
• Memory: OS requirements plus Cloud Gateway Service requirements.
  • A single connection from a tenant takes about 512 KB of memory. 1 GB of memory in a cloud gateway can receive up to 2,000 concurrent connections
• Disk Space: 300 MB
• Network: 1 Gbps LAN

Operating System

Veeam Cloud Connect supports both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of these operating systems:

• Microsoft Windows Server 2019
• Microsoft Windows Server 2016
• Microsoft Windows Server Semi-Annual Channel (from version 1803 to version 20H2)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
• Microsoft Windows 10 (from version 1803 to version 20H2)
• Microsoft Windows 8.1
• Microsoft Windows 7 SP1

Veeam Backup Server

The service provider backup server must meet these requirements:

Hardware

• Memory: at least 8 GB RAM, 16 GB RAM for installations with more than 100 parallel tenant tasks

SQL Database

These versions of Microsoft SQL Server installed on a dedicated server are recommended:

• Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Standard or Enterprise Edition
• Microsoft SQL Server 2017 Standard or Enterprise Edition
